One-man mentalist Anders Karlsson of Sweden's The Pain Machinery finally gets around to releasing a follow up to last years explosive 'Terminate Transmission' EP. If you like your noise noisy and an energy level that never wavers below nuclear then you may just have found your saviour. Eleven tracks of pure molten fury from opener 'Exit' through the angry, angry 'What Did You Do To Me' to closer 'Heading For The Void', the term fast and furious doesn't even come close to broaching the surface as the relentless sonic carnage does it's best to strip your unconscious being from your soul. For those that can immerse themselves in the ball of white noise created by the likes of Tarmvred or Leech Woman then step right up. For the uninitiated however, 'Chaos In Expansion' could prove far too much for their fragile souls. Too bad...
